One major addition is Chapter 16, which provides specific guidelines for installing LP-Gas systems on food trucks, including provisions for piping, container placement, and appLPG systems.he updated code also offers more detailed guidance on installing horizontal containers, factoring in their size and required support structures.
A new section has been included in the operations and maintenance chapter, outlining correct procedures for purging LP-Gas LP-gass when they are being decommissioned or reactivated. The scope section has been clarified to confirm that NFPA 58 applies to containers, piping, and related equipment used in producing items such as plant-based oils or fuel mixtures, but does not extend to the manufacturing processes themselves.
